Data Protection Declaration

In the context of using our website, your personal data (hereinafter only “data”) will be processed. This data may include your name, address, e-mail address and other personal information. Processing is basically any way of dealing with this data.

In the following you will therefore receive information on the processing of your data within the scope of use by GWT-TUD GmbH on the basis of the provisions of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (DS-GVO) and the applicable federal and state data protection laws.

A) Purposes and legal basis of our data processing

1. E-mail contact

Contact can be established at various points on the website via the e-mail address provided. The transmitted personal data, in particular the e-mail address itself, is stored. This data will not be passed on to third parties. The data will be used exclusively for processing the request. The legal basis for the processing of data is Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 f DSGVO. The legitimate interest in the processing of the data lies in the execution of the contact. The data will be deleted once the purpose of the communication has ceased or has ceased. If an offer process takes place in the course of communication, the processed data will be deleted after expiry of the retention periods provided for this purpose.

2. IT security

Finally, we also process data in your and our interest in order to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data processing systems, i.e. in particular the security and availability of your data at www.emsco.eu. The use of our website without processing data for this purpose is not possible. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) DSGVO; our legitimate interest is the maintenance and secure provision of our services.

B) Transfer of data beyond EU borders

The data we collect is stored exclusively on servers in the European Union. A transmission of data to companies outside the European Union does not take place without your express consent. This also applies to service providers commissioned by us for data processing with the exception of the service providers listed below.

C) Data receiver

We will only transmit your data via a secure connection.

To be able to offer you all functions, we also use selected service providers who process data on our behalf. We only pass on data within the framework of legally permissible order processing to service providers carefully selected and commissioned in writing by us. These receive only those data which are necessary for the fulfilment of the order.

These include the following categories of contractors: Identification service providers, software developers, server hosters, customer support.

D) Duration of data storage

The duration of data storage is determined for all processing operations carried out on the basis of a balance of interests or consent from the previous list of processing operations. Insofar as the processing takes place on the basis of a contract, the data will be deleted after the contractual purpose ceases to apply, unless we are legally obligated to further storage or retention. Insofar as the data is still required for the processing of outstanding transactions, the deletion will take place at the earliest after the processing of these transactions.

E) Data security

All data stored by us or any order processors is protected against unauthorized access, loss and alteration in accordance with current security standards. To this end, comprehensive technical and organisational security precautions are applied with a standard that at least complies with legal requirements.

F) Your rights and complaint possibilities

You have the following rights towards us regarding the data concerning you:

  • Right to receive information,

  • Right to obtain data correction or deletion,

  • right to limitation of processing,

  • Right to revoke your consent,

  • right of opposition to the processing,

  • Right to data transferability.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
